Sweet little kisses
I think that me and children under the age of five are the only people who find popsicle jokes hilarious. When I say hilarious, I mean it. I have been known to lose my breath because I am laughing so hard at these puns. Popsicle’s one liners often make their way into my repertoire of jokes. I have officially started my art collection!
Collecting other artists’ works is a hobby I have dreamed about for years. My mom knows of my interest and took it upon herself to start my collection. As a holiday gift she purchased Le Donneur (The Giver) a mosaic by Kath Jones. I fell in love with this piece months ago at Ciel Gallery, a studio and gallery space where my mom and I take mosaic classes.
The end of January is quickly approaching and I have to admit that even though we are only into a few weeks of 2012, I am struggling at times to stay motivated with my New Year’s resolutions. I strongly believe that positive thinking leads to good things; therefore, I created what I am calling my Mantra Menu. Hopefully, this inspirational list will help me stay motivated through the year. I have hung this list on my bedroom mirror, so I can read it every morning before I leave for the day.
How do you stay positive and motivated?

Rommey went in for her first checkup and she was a big hit in the office. The moment I walked into the clinic the receptionist took her out of my arms to show her to everyone. Rommey posed for pictures and received hugs and kisses from all the veterinarians. Though at first she was a little nervous, her anxiety quickly faded as she fell asleep on the checkup table. So deep in puppy dream land, Rommey didn’t even wake up to all the poking and prodding going on.
